Esendex Setup Guide

Configuring your Esendex account with Textable is pretty simple and should only take a few minutes.

  1. When configuring your Textable profile or adding a new user, choose “Esendex” in the provider dropdown.
  2. Next, open a new browser tab and login to your Esendex Portal at https://secure.esendex.us/
  3. Navigate to the “SMS Notify! API” page (https://secure.esendex.us/sms-notify).
  4. In the “License Keys” panel, click the “Add License Key” button or copy an existing key.
  5. Copy the License Key and paste it into Textable.
  6. After pasting in your details, enter in the phone number that you would like to utilize in Textable.
  7. Click “Add New User” or “Save User Details” on Textable.
  8. In the Esendex tab, you now need to configure the number for inbound messaging to Textable using Esendex Postbacks.
  9. Navigate to the Number Management portal (https://numbers.esendex.us/number-management) and select a number to configure.
  10. Click “Edit Sender” and for “DR Postback”, “MO Postback” and “MT Postback” fields, check the box to enable and enter URL: https://inbound.textable.app/receive?provider=esendex
  11. Enter “Textable” in the Program Name field.
  12. Click “Save”
  13. You should now be able to start messaging with your phone number on Textable! You can confirm functionality by starting a new conversation in the Conversations screen of Textable.
