SignalWire Setup Guide

Note: If you are using a newly added phone number or carrier account or have had messaging stop working unexpectedly, please make sure you have completed your carrier's 10DLC registration process before attempting to utilize Textable. 10DLC registration is required by ALL supported carriers due to the requirements set by the wireless carriers.

Configuring your SignalWire account with Textable is pretty simple and should only take a few minutes.

  1. Login to your SignalWire Project Dashboard
  2. Select the Project you would like to use with Textable.
  3. From the Project Dashboard, copy your Project ID and Space URL into your Textable profile.
  4. Next, navigate to the API page on your SignalWire portal.
  5. Create a New Token, naming it “Textable”
    1. For “Relay Scopes” check the box next to “Messaging” and disable other scopes.
    2. Save the new token and copy it into your Textable Profile’s Auth Token field.
  6. Next, navigate to the LAML page and choose the “Apps” tab.
    1. Create a new LAML app.
    2. Set the name to “Textable”
    3. Under “Messaging Settings”, set all callback URLs to https://inbound.textable.app/receive?provider=signalwire and set the “Method” to “POST”.

Note: If you are a private label customer, please replace “https://inbound.textable.app” with your private label hostname (e.g. “https://privatelabel-txb.textable.app/receive?provider=signalwire”). You should have received this value in your onboarding e-mail, but can also be requested by e-mailing support@textable.co.
  7. Navigate to the phone number that you would like to use with Textable and click “Edit Settings”
  8. Under “Messaging Settings”, set the “Handler” to “LAML Application” and choose the newly created App.
  9. Click “Save”
  10. Setup is now complete.

That’s it, you should be able to send and receive messages!
